The Phoenix metro is one of the fastest-growing regions in the United States, and its suburban school landscape is more complex than most relocation guides suggest. Maricopa County alone has 1,323 public schools serving a population of 4.56 million people, and the variation in academic quality across the metro is significant enough that city-level generalizations miss the real picture.
