Families searching for the best public schools in Scottsdale, Arizona, have more to compare than one district. Schools with a Scottsdale address belong to Scottsdale Unified, Paradise Valley Unified, and Cave Creek Unified, along with several charter schools.
The tables below rank each of them by the share of students who scored proficient on Arizona's 2025 state tests, known as AASA, in English language arts and math. They include schools with at least 100 students and 2025 results in both subjects, according to allk12's analysis of Arizona Department of Education data.
Scottsdale scores well above the state as a whole. About 65% of Scottsdale Unified students were proficient in English language arts and about 60% in math in 2025, based on enrollment-weighted school results. Statewide, the figures were about 46% and 38%.
