Schools on the rise

Public schools in each US state with the largest enrollment growth from 2017-18 to 2024-25.

Each state page shows the top 50 brick-and-mortar public schools by percent enrollment growth over seven NCES vintages. Virtual academies, cyber charters, and online schools are excluded. They dominate raw growth numbers but rarely represent a school families are choosing geographically. Schools must have had at least 100 students in 2017-18 and been open in both school years.
